10-12 September 2014
Mechatronics for Advanced Manufacturing (MAM)
Objectives: Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary approach for designing and implementing highly performing
component and systems. The “Mechatronics in Advanced Manufacturing” symposium considers all aspects of advanced manufacturing processes and systems with mechatronic solutions. Contributions are solicited from techniques, methodologies and technologies ranging from system design and quality control to the actual building of autonomous mechatronic systems.
Particular topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
• advanced material and properties,
• manufacturing management,
• mechatronic design,
• risk analysis and testing of mechatronic devices and systems,
• standards and interoperability of/for mechatronic systems
• advanced robotics,
• high-speed automation
